Lindsey's journey into body work began during an incredible Ayurvedic Certification Program at the Dyhana Center in Sebastopol, CA. After receiving her first Ayurvedic treatment consisting of massage, gua sha, hot towels, and lymphatic drainage, she was completely hooked. "My entire body felt energized, my mind was more clear, and I experienced palpable physical changes as well. I was totally in awe of the way that the tissues of the body could be changed so quickly and provide so much relief and freedom in the body and mind."
Lindsey made her way to Asheville from the island of St. John, U.S.V.I. in 2017. On the island, she lead yoga and fitness classes, worked as a vegan/vegetarian chef, and practiced Ayurvedic oil therapy. Forever fascinated by the body, she is a lover of movement and is on a constant quest to be more connected to her own body, to guide others in being curious about theirs, and to work together to create and sustain health. She completed massage school through the Western North Carolina School of Massage with a focus in Swedish Massage and Neuromuscular therapy. "I am so excited to be a part of this warm, holistic, therapeutic healing house. I truly believe that body work is an essential part to overall wellness and am inspired to assist you on your journey in health!" |
